Kansas employers will see the highest percentage increase in the unemployment wage base for 2015 based on the most recent figures for each state. The former wage base was $8,000 and has been so for years. In 2015, the new unemployment wage base will be $12,000. For the most standard unemployment rates, this will mean an increase of $150 – $250 per employee in 2015. Have a company with 100 employees, that’s no small impact!
